Kwara ministry of Business, Innovation & Tech bags award of excellence



The Kwara State Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology received an award of excellence from the Kwara State Public Procurement Agency (KWPPA) for the outstanding performances and for standing out as a beacon of exemplary service and dedication among its counterparts.

The General Manager, Kwara State Public Procurement Agency, Alhaji AbdulBaqi AbdulRaheem, presented the award to the Commissioner in the conference room of the Ministry yesterday in Ilorin, the State capital.

Alhaji AbdulRaheem stated that the primary assignment of the Agency is to ensure that the government’s procurement processes are transparent, efficient and fair.

“The Agency played a crucial role in promoting accountability and integrity in all government transactions, thus fostering an environment conducive to business and investment. With a team of dedicated professionals at its helm, the Agency worked tirelessly to streamline procurement procedures and eliminate any hint of corruption or malpractice”, he noted.

The General Manager commended the Management, retired Procurement Officer/Project Manager of the Ministry, Elder Samuel Oyinloye and other staff for the diligent work ethics and tireless pursuit of growth and development, which have contributed positively to socio-economic enhancement.

Responding, the State Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun, appreciated the kind gesture of KWPPA and assured them of continuous synergy between the Agency and the Ministry, promising to foster an environment of trust and growth as well as set a precedent for effective governance and public service delivery.

The Commissioner also praised the AbdulRazaq-led administration for its laudable policies and programmes, which have enabled the Ministry to perform its functions effectively.
